El Facebook elimina de la seva xarxa el grup Els catalans no som espanyols. La notícia apareixia a l'Avui del 21 de novembre de 2009. A continuació un fragment de la notícia (si la voleu llegir sencera, podeu clicar aquí):

"La xarxa social, però, sí que posa èmfasi a remarcar que "no elimina grups que parlin en contra d'un país, una entitat política o una idea". L'objectiu d'aquestes polítiques és assolir controlar el delicat equilibri que suposa donar als usuaris la llibertat d'expressar les seves opinions i creences, però garantint al mateix temps que els individus i grups de persones no se sentin amenaçats o en perill, diuen [pfff, com si aquest grup amenacés o posés en perill a algú, TxM]. Tanmateix, aquest equilibri es trenca contínuament en aquesta xarxa. Grups com Yo también odio a los independentistas continuen oberts, encara que al mur s'hi pot llegir: Muerte a Carod Rovira! y muerte a todos los que no quieren ser españoles."

Del Facebook, me n'hi vaig donar de baixa ara fa tres mesos perquè em trèia temps per fer la meva tesi, i perquè no entenia gaire perquè havia d'actualitzar una pàgina per un grup de virtuals desconeguts. La majoria dels meus veritables amics no estaven a la xarxa aquesta, però sí que hi tenia com "amics" als meus companys de departament a NYU, amb els quals tinc una relació efectiva que tendeix a zero, ja que estan massa ocupats treballant tot el dia, i prefereixen relacionar-se amb la gent només virtualment. Darrerament, m'havia plantejat tornar-hi, però vista aquesta notícia, me'n penso oblidar per sempre més. S'ha acabat el bròquil (the broccoli is over)!!!

Avui en dia el sobiranisme és transversal, és present arreu amb totes les sensibilitats i per motius diversos. A la no-dependència s’hi arriba per moltes vies i les volem totes obertes; les de la butxaca, les del cap, les del cor, les de l’herència de diverses generacions, i les de les maletes acabades de desfer. A la nació sobirana de futur, hi cap tothom. Ens equivocaríem, doncs, si pretenguéssim que una sola força política n’ostentés el monopoli, en fos l’únic i exclusiu dipositari, en volgués la patent o la propietat exclusiva. No hi pot haver un monopoli de l’independentisme, ni per part d’uns cognoms, ni d’una classe, ni d’un partit, si volem triomfar nacionalment. De la mateixa manera que les esquerres (i les dretes) són plurals, també ho és l’independentisme. Cal estendre aquest independentisme, cal articular l’ampli espai de l’independentisme que respon a aquest projecte nacional obert, inclusiu i flexible. Tan flexible, que cada dia que passa creix una mica més, amb formes diverses i en totes direccions.

AQUÍ podreu trobar tot el discurs del 4 de novembre de 2009, al qual pertany aquest fragment. Llegiu-lo si podeu, perquè és el discurs d'un polític i orador de primeríssima classe, odiat pels uns i pels altres, perquè representa la realitat de l'independentisme, qui el vol de veritat, i no només vol cridar més alt que ningú sense fer-hi res, i qui ni en vol sentir a parlar. Val absolutament la pena llegir el discurs, i reflexionar-hi, veure tota la força del independentisme integrador que s'hi proposa. Esperem que en Carod torni algun dia a la primera línia de la política catalana, a on pertany per mèrits propis en el lloc que ara ocupen els mediocres que es pensen l'avantguarda de l'independentisme.

Trudy the Bag Lady has made a life for herself on the streets, offering her own bits of wit and wisdom to the passers-by. Before she wound up on the streets, she was in and out of hospitals, receiving so much electro-shock therapy that she believes her nervous system has been re-wired and now tunes into the bio-rhythms of people around her.
Trudy takes us, along with her two alien companions, on a discovery trip to find out what it means to be human and imparting her own impressions on life. She tunes in a wide array of people, ranging from Agnus Angst, a 15-year-old punk performance artist; Agnus' grandparents Lud and Marie; Chrissy, a recently unemployed workout enthusiast; Lily, an actress currently performing a one-woman show; and many others, both men and women, gay and straight.
This play is full of marvelous insight into the human condition and life in the 1980's. This is very apparent in the incredible second act, in which we follow Lyn from the consciousness-raising times of the 1970's through her rise and fall in the business ranks of the 1980's and her turbulent family life. Also, all the characters, in one form or another, have some influence on the life of the other characters in the play, whether or not they actually meet: Lyn has an affair with Agnus's mother; Kate, a rich trendsetter, finds a suicide note left by Chrissy lying in the street; Trudy takes the aliens to see Lily's play in order to show them goosebumps.
The book also includes still images, from the stage production, of Lily Tomlin, many of which were shot by Annie Leibowitz. Jane Wagner also created some montages of Lily as the many characters in the play.
Full of wit, insight and tenderness, this play stands as a perfect glimpse into understanding society.

la contra d'avui

La contra d'avui dijous 11 de novembre de 2009, és només un altre article on ens recorden lo dolentes que arriben a ser les dictadures comunistes en general, i la de la ex-RDA en particular. L'entrevistat, un cura protestant, era un disident en aquell règim, i per això podria merèixer el meu respecte (caldria conèixer una mica més el cas). Ara bé, com diu Chomsky, sempre ens mereixen una gran admiració els disidents a casa de l'enemic, i en canvi menyspreem els de casa nostra: per exemple, Chomsky a Estats Units, és literalment ignorat, quan no menystingut o detestat, o Arnaldo Otegui a Espanya és empresonat per defensar unes idees i és clarament un pres políitic, per molt que tota la premsa corporativa espanyola li ho vulgui negar.

En fi, l'entrevista d'avui no tindria gaire interès si no fos pel següent fragment, part del comentari final de l'entrevistaire, que avui és en Lluis Amiguet:

"Un puñado de héroes; otro de traidores y una gran mayoría de acomodados. Es la receta de las dictaduras que da el padre Gauck, pero no se me antoja tan distante de nuestra democracia o, como dicen aquí los disidentes, de la "partitocracia realmente existente": un puñado que roba; otro de honestos que podría y no lo hace: algún justo que persigue a los aprovechados; y una mayoría inmensa de acomodados que nos creemos los telediarios. "

Hi estic absolutament d'acord amb aquest comentari, i no cal afegir-hi res més perquè ja ho diu tot.

Christoph Niemann (born 1970 in Waiblingen, Germany) is an illustrator, graphic designer, and (co)author of several books including some children's books. After his studies in Germany he moved to New York City in 1997. His work has appeared on the covers of The New Yorker, Atlantic Monthly, The New York Times Magazine, and American Illustration, and has won awards from AIGA, the Art Directors Club, and American Illustration. After 11 years in New York City, he moved to Berlín with his wife Lisa, and their sons, Arthur, Gustav and Fritz. Violeta and I have decided to start a new blog with interviews to the kind of people that Borges dubs Los Justos (the fair ones), i.e. people who have things to say to all of us, but don’t have a tribune from where they can make us arrive their voices. People of all kind of social and intellectual background, of all kind of ideology. We want to know all the different ways to look at the world, and to see things. We want to learn from them all.

In principle, we had thought on following the model of interview in the section la Contra of the Spanish newspapaper la Vanguardia, but on second thoughts we decided against establishing a limit on the types of questions and answers, and rather decided on limiting their number. Therefore, we are going to stick to interviews of ten personalized questions the interviewee will be able to answer the way she prefers: the ten questions you would ask a stranger to get to know her a little better, to know how she sees things, what she has to say, etc.

We don’t assume that our blog is just now anything like a far-reaching tribune, from where everybody will be able to listen to these voices. However, we do see it as a first step in the way to reach some other people. Maybe some of these materials will get somewhere else, and simply that will already have provided a full justification for the blog... And at the very least, we ourselves will benefit of the many treasures hidden in the wisdom of the fair ones.

In the end, the dream of that new blog would be becoming a Wikipedia of the personal individual points of view of every single person in the world.

I really hope that this initiative will become a reality in our lives.
